How we ask for your consent
We do not ask you for cookie consent, because Hearth does not set anything that requires it.
The only cookies this site stores are the ones needed to make it work — keeping you signed in, and remembering a choice you already made. We do measure how the site is used, but that measurement runs without storing anything on your device: it keeps no identifier between page loads, so it cannot follow you from one visit to the next. There are no advertising or social-media tags on this site at all.
If that changes, this page changes with it, and you will be asked before anything non-essential is stored.
Cookies this site can set
This is the complete list. Anything not on it is not set by us.
| Cookie | Category | Retained for | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
stytch_session | Strictly necessary | 30 days | Keeps you signed in to Hearth (Stytch) |
stytch_session_jwt | Strictly necessary | 30 days | Verifies your session without a round trip on every request (Stytch) |
cc_consent | Strictly necessary | 12 months | Stores your cookie preferences |
hearth-pwa-install-dismissed | Strictly necessary | Until you clear it | Remembers that you dismissed the “install this app” prompt, so it is not shown again |
ph_* | Analytics | 12 months | Distinguishes returning visitors so product usage can be measured (PostHog) |
Analytics cookies appear in this table because the site is built to support them, but in the current configuration they are never written — measurement runs in memory only and is discarded when you close the tab.
Cookies set by other people
None. This site loads no advertising, social-media, or third-party marketing tags.
If you work for a business that uses Hearth
Your employer decides what employee information lives in Hearth; this page is about what the website stores in your browser, which is the same for everyone. For questions about your employment records, ask your employer — see the Privacy Policy for how those two roles divide up.
